Lord Snooty
Well, it's a clean sheet isn't it. We kept eleven men on the field. We didn't concede in extra time. And erm. Well. At least I'm not a Stoke fan. I mean, as a Wednesday supporter I think we half expected this. Must be worse for them...they think they're in the shake up for promotion. Anyway.... Man of the match nominations and match scores and ratings please folks. Edited November 28, 2020 by Lord Snooty
Lord Snooty
Oh, I'll probably go with Borner for my man of the match too. 1
WUGGAMONKEY1
Nobody really stood out for me in what was a workmanlike performance. Harris flattered to deceive. Both centre halves pretty solid. Wildsmith made a good save at the end so I’ll go with him even though he could have cost us earlier in the game with the missed punch.

Blatter
Borner. He wasn’t really all that good and got away with a couple of very questionable challenges. Its just that all the others were worse today.

Striggy
Rhodes - for not kicking the water bottles as he trudged off. Was he sobbing in the stand? Didn’t do much, but didn’t do owt wrong. Had nothing to work with Edited November 28, 2020 by Striggy 3 "nobody told me there would be days like these!" Similar from Lees who did well to deny Vokes a close ranger header but he did make some poor passes and sloppy clearances. Can't say anyone played well in an attacking sense, another poor home performance and nothing anywhere near as encouraging as the first half at Swansea. The opposition were arguably worse than us. Boring game to watch, again.
Tarquin
Can I say, the only person on the pitch who did owt controversial was the referee. What a 2@he is when he steps on the pitch to ref us.

CircleSeven
Yay! We didn’t lose and we didn’t concede! Beyond that nothing much happened. Glad Fletcher wasn’t playing as he might have tipped it for Stoke? Anyway, how do you pick a MoM from that type of game? Widsmith did actually make a save so may as well give it to him. I know he follows my posts so will take a nice confidence boost from it! Good luck on Wednesday Joe! 1

Kendo Nagasaki
If you can’t win it make sure you don’t lose it. Lees for me back to something like decent form 3
Musn't Grumble
A bit of a zzz-fest.... Don't think anyone as outstanding for us but, likewise, nobody had a mare. Wildsmith had one shot to save (and then the Stoke goalie had one less than that to deal with). Bannan ran around a lot so I'd probably give him an extra point for effort.

Bouncing Owl
Borner my man of the match again. Good run of form. But Harris also had a good game. Final ball is lacking but can’t fault his workrate and energy. Plus he can beat a man. He needs to work on his delivery and final ball.
A E Neuman NYowl
Another very good defensive display, really well organised and it gives us a platform to build on. its going to be difficult with the players we have to score goals,so it's essential we don't concede. This is what you get when you have had several years of poor recruitment. Borner MoM 3
