Assuming the Championship copied the Premier League rules entirely (which they seem to have done) then we can't amend the squad until the transfer window opens.

The only way to change it outside the transfer window is to cite exceptional circumstances and appeal to the ELF..

.. who are not going to say yes to us.

I know its almost Xmas so cant we appeal to the main man? SANTA?...why are we having to appeal to an ELF?

Any notion the EFL would block his registration now but not in January is completely absurd. The circumstances are no different, he’s our player now just like he will be in Jan. It’s no different to adding one of the academy lads in should we want too.

He’ll be sorted this week and in the team Saturday, if fit...

A bloke drives three cars

He drives one car - smashes it straight into a wall
He drives the second car - smashes it straight into a wall
He drives the third card - smashes it straight into a wall

Are you saying that you'd let him get into a fourth car  because you didn't know the exact intricate details of why he's crashed the other three cars?

Or a bloke drives his car 181 times and his record is better than any other driver (goals conceded per game - stretching the analogy a bit...) apart from Steve Bywater, but he drove on an easier grade of track. Much less car crashes than the other two potential drivers, even though they have only driven 50 times each. Who would you want behind the wheel?

Personally, I'd put him on the bench. If he flounces then nothing lost, back to where we were. If he inspires Wildsmith to greater heights to keep him out of the team, that's a big win. If Wildsmith keeps crashing, then time to hand over the driving gloves.

Scandalous a player of his quality and value has been frozen out to make/perpetuate a point in our situation.

talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Just ‘manage’ the situation ffs.

Bang some heads together Tone.

Dross did it and failed, Monk did it failed.

Bruce brought him straight back with an upturn in our results and Pulis has already said he will do the same.

Monk and Dross will never work at this level again.

He has more comebacks than Status Quo this lad. What an absolute farce.

Weird how the strong old school managers like Bruce and Pulis bring him in and then the wet lettuces like Monk and Jos bomb him out. Lad clearly has a big personality, need a big one to handle him.

Dawson wants selling, IMO.

Nowhere near good enough for this level.

You would think both of them will want to leave really,  if they’ve any aspirations of playing regular football anyway

Dont see Pulis playing either of them through choice, couldn’t be anymore clear yesterday when asked
