Dronfield Blue
England v Scotland. Scotland 11/1 to win. Got to be worth a 50p 10p bet?

Give Chillwell a run or Shaw? I’d put Trippier at RB as Walker was poor v Croatia.
Adem Poric
If Dykes was up front for them i'd prefer Maguire in there but after how awful he was against the Czechs they will surely go with Adams. I'd stick with the two centre backs but change the full backs. Get James and Chilwell in for additional attacking outlets. Get them stretched by using the fullbacks as the out balls. Ellis Rimmer
They’re just getting tierney back so makes it even if we both have crocked centre halves
scram
I wouldn't bring him back He's only just restarted training so be nowhere near match fit If we don't lose to Scotland we're through - the final game is a gimme so let him get up to speed in that game
Ellis Rimmer
When I was the Hearts manager from 2005-2022 I would just have them on the bench when they were coming back from injury as that would get their fitness up without risking a further setback. I would never risk a player that wasn’t fully fit unless it was the final of the champions league

Whatever happens Maguire is going to play at some stage, my only worry is later in tournament when we have play teams with more potent attacks who have pace. Maguire gets caught flat footed or out of position too often when faced with kind of quality players teams like France, Portugal have.
FreshOwl
Get Maguire in. He’s our best defender. He’ll be reyt Or leave him out tomorrow and play against the Czechs. We’ll need him fit for the knockout rounds Edited June 17, 2021 by FreshOwl

I think both may play, or he may opt for Gilmour in an advanced role alongside Adams.

beswetherick
I reckon he’ll go with the same 11 and rest players for the Czech game assuming we get a win or draw which will take us through
Kopparberg
Hoping for a convincing/memorable England win and plenty of possession. Hopefully Kane will bag one and not look so cream crackered. I’d like to see Sancho, Grealish and Rashford off the bench (Rashford I want to see a bit more from). Probably see the same starting 11 …. Get the feeling he might rest Trippier though. Kopparberg
According to Transfermarkt England’s squad is the most expensive at the Euros And would cost *£1.15 billion* to buy in expected transfer fees Partly down to the youthfulness amongst other things
