Think Eddie Howe wouldn't see Wednesday as an exciting prospect.

Very little chance we would get him.

Wot? A chance to manage The Wednesday? DC will need a stick to get through the crowds. Eddie will just have to take his place in the queue like everyone else.

Same number pep, Klopp, sir Alex , big Ron et al had when they started out.

Nearly all those had to start out in management much lower down the scale.

Fergie and Big Ron did 4 or 5 years before landing a decent sized club.

If I was Chairman of a club size of Wednesday I would always value experience of being a manager first.

I'm not a massive fan of howe and wouldn't be positive about him handling life at Hillsborough.

That said though I do think he'd match what we have in player personnel. He likes to keep the ball on the floor and employ easy simple tactics, not over complicating things too much which for me would work well with who we have.

Eddie Howe would be a dream appointment for me.

He’s been a manager for 12 years and only for two clubs. Such longevity means something.

His worst win ratio is 39%!
He kept a club with a teeny weeny stadium in the Premier League for absolutely ages. They even got into the top 30 world’s richest clubs list.

His would be a Steve Bruce level of appointment. Yes please.

I think the financial achievement is rather diluted by the billionaire bankrolling their promotion, exceeding FFP. That in addition to EPL TV money made the size of their stadium a little irrelevant.
