We was supposedly haggling over £500k for Windass. We lost our on Leko. Now are signing a striker who cost £8m last season. Surely WBA won’t accept anything under £4m. Haggling with Wigan because they're in a poo situation perhaps, why pay more than we needed to? We could back load the deal for Zohore, certain amount upfront, more payment on certain number of appearances, goals & lump sum if we get promoted

Ahead of him in the National team are Yussuf Poulsen who plays for RB Leipzig and has been strike partner for Timo Werner. Also infront of him is Kaspar Dolberg who is playing for Nice in Ligue 1. He looked as though he may go straight to the top when he came through at Ajax. On top of that you’ve also got Andreas Cornelius who scored 12 in 26 in Serie A last season and Braithwaite, who may not have set the world alight at Middlesbrough is still a Barcelona player. Fair points well made but you would think there would be a cap or two in there somewhere especially since he's a dual international

WalthamOwl
Would the lad really commit to a permanent deal now? As has been said maybe a loan with a view to a permanent if we stay up? Would be a very impressive signing imo. Really hope it happens.

Don't you just love Owlstalk (Attistalk) Gives us something to talk about even if it is wishful thinking! Alternatively we could all go and watch a rerun of the Walsall game to see if we can spot the really good points of Reach's performance in attack that Monk gave reference to. Didn't cost them £8m was a fee that "could rise to" £8m. Makes the other transfer dealings look good business if it has meant we have £3-£4m to pay for a striker at a good age that beattie can work with
