Is he injured? They won the last game he played in and haven't won since.

Best signing of the 3 we have announced so far.

He was subbed in that game as soon as the opposition went down to 10 men. The score was nil-nil when he went off. Think the sub got the winner

Played wing back in the game

This is great news, and the other young players staying on too.

Add Holland and Garner etc. And maybe we’ll have a young and energetic side next season.  Will it be good enough? The rest as they say is yet to come

I hope they do the contract signing in Ian's garden with a cocktail party afterwards followed by an all night rave of Kosovan folk music.

Sad thing is, I have witnessed scenes like these on operational tour, in the Balkans. Yes, within Europe!

Very happy with this. He has potential without question. Down to our coaches to develop him into a very good footballer.  Sadly, we haven’t got a good track record of doing this and bringing our homegrown players through. Hope this changes with Penney.

Looks as though the club are thinking about next season now with regards these recent moves. It also suggests that with 12 month extensions, there’s no real eye on the long term which could be viewed in several ways? Manager, financial security, etc.?

Hopefully financial security above all, can't see many clubs offering much when there is a huge risk quite a few will be going to the wall

To my Knowledge all these 12 month contracts are just one year extensions on there current deals. Think we exercise that option and it just adds a year to the deal on all the same terms as before. In Penney's case he probably didnt want that to happen but from what I understand he wouldnt have much choice. Means if he does want to stay in Germany at least now we can command a fee.  So the reason they are all 12 month contracts is purely down to us just doing the simple thing of exercising our extension clauses. Nothing to do with how we value them by not putting them on longer deals.

3 signed up for next season, good to see some productivity.

Though asks the question, is everyone going to get their contracts extended?

Sounds like these three had clauses in their contracts allowing the club to easily extend. With little or even no negotiations or fees or anything.

Maybe a few more have such clauses.
