EFL drop some of the charges

This is a VERY encouraging first step but it is just that, a first step.

If we do go on to beat the EFL then all credit to Dejphon Chansiri, I’ve criticised him as have others but if we avoid a points deduction then I think there are plenty of fans like me who will need to eat a decent slice of humble pie.

It won’t make everything at the club rosey but it’ll be a start and it’ll mean that we are a Championship club next season rather than a league 1 club.

I will eat the contents of my bum hole first.

The fact we are even having this discussion tells you everything you need to know about the running of our club.

So you think the EFL are dropping the case against the three individuals because of Coronavirus, but they are going ahead with the case against the club despite Coronavirus. How does that make any sense?

The case against the club will also be dropped imho.

The Efl had to drop the charges with what has been going on recently.

Or maybe they had to drop them because they had done nowt wrong

Think we’ve taken an early lead here, that’s all.

Has to be said though that the whole football environment has changed in the last two weeks.

Can we hold on and keep a clean sheet.

You know what we are like at defending early leads !

From my bedroom window I can hear a massive party going on on the next road

Sounds like thirty or fourty there having a mass Covid19 infect each other karaoke party

Theyre singing Human League songs currently

Don’t know whats sadder.. their lack of singing, or knowing their actions could impact on their families in a week or so’s time

And with that lovely news I will bid you all goodnight from Owlstalk HQ

I like to know where people post from,  I prefer to post from the lavy.

OK let me put it simply, as I say I'm not a legal bod.

A boy walks past your front garden and bangs a brick through your window.

The police arrest a boy and charge him with criminal damage.

At court the judge proclaims there is insufficient evidence to obtain a conviction.

The police immediately leave the court building and arrest the brick.

Ultimately any further charge has to be against individual or individuals acting on behalf of the club. If not Mr Chansiri, Ms Meire and Mr Redgate   then who ?

Ok understand that bit,

But what happens to the brick.

On a related note, EFL not having a great time of it with charges against clubs. New man at the top throwing his weight around, loses case against Birmingham, early negative signs against us... Where does this leave the likes of Bury? Out of business under this EFL leadership... Very little hope of redemption at the lower end of the pyramid when EFL make rash decisions with grave consequences.

Charges against the club are STILL ONGOING

People all over social media think we have totally beaten the EFL charges

WE HAVENT

Some of them are too busy ranting about pubs being told to shut.

Unbelievable some of posts I seen last night.  :duntmatter:

I was confident about it all til I read this.

We're going out of business in the last minute of the final hearing aren't we?
