Would you give Forestieri a new contract?

Need to see his attitude in training and with the rest of the group as well as his match performances to have enough evidence to judge as big a decision as this.

How are we going to see his match performances?

We’re either committed to a clear out or we aren’t.

If we are, then he needs to move on with our best wishes, because he has given us some good times over the years

A one year contract is just pointless. If he’s worth keeping then we want him long term, otherwise let’s move on and rebuild

Absolutely not. Only Fletch & Fox should be staying.

Fletcher has been in good form but he's been poor value for money overall. FF.s time is over. We need younger, fitter, hungrier players. The only ones I'd definitely keep are Fox, Iorfa, Borner, Bannan and Nuhiu (whatever people think he's been excellent value for money and is a good squad player

If it looks and smells like a gamble, then it should not be done. The club is crippled by gambles that have gone wrong.

Anything to do with Forestieri carries risk. Risk is something we cannot afford.

Every player signing is a gamble.

To paraphrase your last point: Risk is something we cannot avoid.

The other side of this question is whether we can afford better, will be be allowed to spend on anyone else, would anyone else better want to come here. We shouldn’t bin off FF or others unless we are confident that the answers to those questions are positive. Even then it’s still a gamble.

No. Brilliant 2015-17, but has contributed very little for three seasons. Some great memories - but time to say goodbye.

Fletcher and Fox are the only players I would offer contracts to and I would also try and sell where we can. For me, Bannan and Reach could go. Bannan is in a similar situation to Fessi. Some great games, some great memories. But it's all yesteryear. Time to move on.

There is risk assessment modelling. Of course all players represent risk but some players repreesnt a much higher risk than others. Forestieri is up there with the highest risk options. The risk outweighs the possible gain. If it goes wrong, we are stuck with an expensive flop yet again.

Of course; but if he has another season like his first then resigning him will have been a master stroke. It’s a gamble that the owner/manager have to decide upon, and is why owners/managers get the plaudits/complaints from fans after the event.

There are no certainties in football signings.
