SiJ
How many people have scored for them in the league? McBurnie has 1? Lundstrum has 1? Robinson has 1? Sharp has 1? Oh, and OG has 2. Pretty sure that's your lot.

One of them said they’ll have a better chance against Man City than they did against Watford as teams like Watford just put 11 men behind the ball. Were you at a porgy? Skyline
Had a quick browse on their forums (Dirsty, I know). McBurnie and Robsinson seem to be the players getting a slating at the moment. McBurnie doesn't seem to offer much and Robinson is not a striker so should be dropped for Sharp. All that money spent and they want Billy Sharp to be their starting striker. Matt_1
I like this little convo: Quote Long balls to the skinny bearded guy who gets outjumpted + outmuscled by big defenders all day long because he is NOT a targetman + cannot hold the ball up ? Something is clearly wrong with our ability to get through defences. CW was VERY prickly on this subject when asked a very gentle question by RS. My take on that is that it is a BIG WORRY to him. And the Prince might not be trusting him with another £17m if McBurnie is how he spunks that kind of munneh. Quote Serious question because I don't know the answer, what is his role and what are his strengths? Quote McBurnie ? I don't really know. He doesn't win regularly in the air or on the ground against athletic Prem CBs. He doesn't hold the ball up too well with his back to goal. Most of that is down to his lightweight physique. He doesn't run the channels with any pace , nor does he ride tackles like the Moose. He's got a big bushy beard though. £17m big hitters who appear to be failures as things stand. Remember the last world beater they had with a beard? Priceless but ended up at Burton iirc.
SiJ
I liked the look of McBurnie in the Champ, but it is a big step up to the Prem. There was him and Maupay available this summer and it seems that Brighton got the better deal.

Many of players have scored regulary in the Championship and struggle to new more than 5 in the Prem. Chopra always springs to mind. latemodelchild
Talking to one the other day who said mcburnie hadn't been bought for his goals, but for the other things he brings. Couldn't quite explain what they were though. He also thought wilder would only leave the pigs for the England job. This is all off the back of telling me Wednesday fans needed to lower their expectations a bit and stop believing we're a massive club.

SiJ
Tbf, we aren't exactly blessed with a raft of top keepers right now. Don't rate Pickford.
