A thoroughly pathetic performance. Call me miserable or whatever, sorry that I expect a bit more from our players. Expect a lot more in fact. The only postitive about today is breaking Rotherham hearts, but that’s only a little positive because largely I don’t give a poo about Rovrum. Only thing we can hope for this season is we don’t get stuffed by the Pigs and they suffer promotion heartbreak. How sad is that. That’s the best we can hope for, how far we’ve fallen in the space of 2 years. It’s actually quite remarkable. We need improvements in playing staff particularly in midfield until this happens we have to muddle through. The team battled and got a draw actually think its improvement. Daft mistake at back which we have not done for last few games it was though relief of scoring a goal and team just thought job done and after that we were chasing game. It will take time you can not turn it around in a couple of weeks. fans will have to realise some of players are not good enough, in they do not have consistency to be winners. oldishowl
The thing is they missed some real sitters both first and second half, probably half a dozen really good chances. They should have been out of sight
FlyingOwl
People say that Fernando is one of the best players in the league ‘on his day’ - and I’m inclined to agree. But when’s the last time he had ‘his day’. How long do we wait for another day? Granted he’s had injury issues but that just makes it more blantant to me that he’s done here. I love him. And I wish things were different. But if an offer comes in of £5m+ then I’d be taking it.

Westwood is Irelands number 1 and hugely experienced. Hector is a Chelsea player and has plenty of experience, Lees is a very experienced defender at this level, Thorniley looks an excellent prospect, Palmer has played enough games at this level, Fox has improved, Bannan is one of the best passers in the league and has international and premier league experience, Reach is again a very good player at this level, Forestieri is one of the best players in this league on his day, Boyd, Fletcher have loads of experience at premier league level, Fletcher also international. The players are better than they are playing atm for some reason I don't know why. Its not like all these players are 36 or something, some should be in their prime. We have been outplayed today by a team containing Mattock and Wood (wood didn't play of course but you get the point), that is the level of player we were up against today and we were second best for most of it, its baffling. I wanted Bruce and I'm sure he'll sort it out but I wish he could instill some passion, urgency and identity to the way we play because atm I'm not sure what the plan is. Fox has improved but is still one of the worst players in this entire league, you cannot carry incompetence at this level

Quite possibly spot on. But we’re not financially in the position to build a team to get the most out of him either. Of course, I hope I’m wrong and something just clicks. Cos I’m not slagging him off. He’s made mistakes here with his ‘attitude’ but I’ve also seen him bond with the fan base on and off the pitch and he’s incredibly likeable when all is said and done. And i have seen him single handedly win us games with utter magic. I’m just starting to get the feeling that it may be best for both parties for a parting of ways. Theres a few players I’m thinking that about right now. Maybe its time to start from scratch a bit.

Until the 99th minute we just showed no desire or urgency to get back into it. I can't even remember a goal attempt apart from Reach's pathetic effort from range until Forestieri's volley that went for the corner we scored from. Most annoying thing was the reaction to going a goal up... How many times in the last 18 months have we gone a goal up and then thrown away the lead literally minutes later? Mole
We have some good players, but they're individuals of sorts. A good TEAM can generally name a formation and the players that will (give or take) play in it. Can you say that for us? Where would you put Reach and Forestieri? What formation? Square pegs, round holes.

This season is over, Bruce will now use this to see who is in his plans and what is needed to move us forward. Loom to the future fella, Bruce will turn us around and have us challenging at the right end of the table, its probably going to take 2 years but trust in him, he is the man that is going to take us back to the premiership. Socialist_Owl
Happier with a draw than a loss. We aren't going anywhere this year, so let Bruce find out who's up for it. We'll be shipping out a few this offseason, no doubt. Anyone getting distraught over this needs a perspective realignment. ffs. Mr Farrell
This is what happens when you combine 2 incompetent Managers with an inexperienced Chairman. It will take Bruce a minimum of 18 months to start turning the damage from Jos and Clown round.

quinnssweetshop
Sadly, if we survive this year....and to be honest, if we keep nicking the odd game and getting these draws, we will be o.k. Sadly, I can see use making no changes next year, we are in the financial crap and I fear next year will be a full blown relegation battle. We are utterly done. Shot our bolt the first two seasons and got taken by Doyen et al. Survival is our only hope for the next five years.

The players he rightly or wrongly sidelined - identified by many as 'must picks' at the time - are still here. He realised the need to reshape the squad. Perhaps he did things in the wrong way, but let's be fair, he didn't set back the club 18 months, surely.
