Rhubarb n Custard
Should Jos go we could do a lot worse than Ian Holloway, he gets my vote. He knows the league, is well connected, a strong personality and most importantly has successfully gained promotion to the Prem twice before. He's the type that would relish the challenge, get the players organised and putting a shift in. I read earlier that he'd recently thrown his hat into the ring. DC, call him, call him now. 1
Hirstys Salopettes
On EFL he’s laid into Jos as much as a pundit ever does Let’s be fair, Reg Houldsworth with Curly Watts as his No 2 would be an improvement on Dros and balls and bibs Bullen
TrickyTrev
Give him a deal until May and then take it from there.
steelcityowlsfan
He's far too logical a choice for our chairman.
tonyem
He’s got a good reputation in English football. If Jos goes, Holloway could rescue us.
WalthamOwl
I like him. At least he would make us laugh
BRADDO
He'd most likely keep us up, would be a sensible, pragmatic appointment. And that is why under the current regime, he will not be even on the radar.
TomtheOwl95
I like him as a bloke and like listening to him. As a long term appointment no but until the end of the season to get some much needed buzz back into the club, maybe.
Rhubarb n Custard
Ok, if we are all in agreement can we start singing his name at the Rotherham game next week
frastheowl
Out of all the out of work managers who’d actually come to us right now, I think Holloway could be the best of slim pickings. Did a a underrated job with QPR last season, has always had an affinity with Wednesday, plays a brand of football which excites fans and is more than adept at working on a shoestring budget and finding value for money. He’d take it on a short term deal I reckon also.
BFR
Promoted with two and (all but) relegated two from the Championship.

I agree, he even hinted that we have an attacking side but Jos is too negative and defensive. This is from a bloke who doesnt even watch us ...so over to you Mr Chansiri? What @TaxiMark said ... we have an attacking side but a defensive coach ... basically, without calling it, an incompatible situation (Dros loves to reference a situation in his press conferences)

Been sacked everywhere he's been If he's that good why offer him a short term contract?

theowlsman
He’s already got his bag packed. Spoke to him on Thursday. He’s up for it. I’ve put him right on the squad too. He can’t wait. Even packed Stumpy with him. Glad you all caught up with the no.1 choice eventually.
