gurujuan
If it’s not in our interests to sell him, because of FFP, then a loan move to Leeds would be the next best thing We just have to hope there is a club out there as stupid as us, and with deep pockets What a friggin mess
Watto
Stop making excuses for the bloke , whatever he had in the past has gone , the game has moved on and Jordan hasn't I'm afraid , get shut

shezzas left peg
Hopefully If the money is OK. Nothing against Jordan, but sometimes moves just don't work out it just doesn't fit, couldn't understand at the time why we signed him after just signing winnal and it's a similar case here for the lad just hasn't worked out well.

mcmigo
All the threads about we need to sort crossing out for jr to score more. personally , if it crosses into the box, I would rather have adthe or fletcher in there than Rhodes.

It's a mess That sounds like it might be so. We need to get about 3/4 of what we paid and we then have the benefit of getting his wages off the books
torres
Sooner we get him off the wage bill the better. If we can claw back any of the fee we paid i'd be even happier When everyone is fit he won't even make the bench

If he is the lethal finisher he used to be, then he needs to run less and have someone next to him who can stretch a defence. Joao is probably the only one who can. Otherwise too easy to march Rhodes up to the half way line where he is totally ineffective. I would give him the rest of this season off and send him to some sort of wellness and spiritual place with some hard core fitness thrown in. Go put some beads round his neck and get him doing yoga and get his head right. then come back in July and give him til January to see if he can still do it. Can I go to this place you talk of instead , I need to up my fitness and well being levels , beads are good !!
Bluesteel
I think all this stuff about the game moving on is rubbish. It’s a combo of Rhodes losing confidence, being played as the link man and us not creating as many chances as we possibly could. When we have created chances he hasn’t been as lethal as we’d hoped, in some cases he has missed some easy ones. So as much of this is on JR as anyone else. But I can’t help thinking that he will go on and do well somewhere else.

just visiting
Leeds United director of football tells JR to sit tight as he will be joining Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, is probably more accurate and hopefully true. A £15k a week wage cap will put any deal between LUFC and SWFC to bed I think.
Matt_1
I hope not. I really think Rhodes and Hooper up top with FF sat behind would work.

dewsburyowl58
So it seems we should have bought 2 wingers who can cross the ball to Rhodes for him to tap or head into the net !!! Gets more expensive , bit like an entourage kind of thing . Record signing , record flop !!! Can’t believe we shelled out so much money for him . What research was done on his style of play , his form etc ?
