I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player who looks less interested in football than Dele Alli over the last few seasons.

Shocked he hasn’t gone to Newcastle, and absolutely not what Everton need.

Earned a new contract with Spurs playing great in the run-up to the WC in Russia & also at that.

Downed tools since then, with the mega bucks coming in.  Playing on Instagram, changing his name & having daft hairstyles became his priorities. Still isn't too late if he's prepared to get his head down & work again.

£40m for dele alli is absurd. Someone needs their minerals checking over that. Levy will be over the moon.

£40 m for a player in a position they don't need, who is going to sulk because he's having to move out of London and a top six club.

His style of play would have gone down well in La Liga, I'm sure he could have got a  move to a mid table side there and carried on living the good life.

Think he looked a real prospect in his early Spurs days.

Don't think he got any better and over time has gone backwards - Attitude problem some may say?

Either way, he's the kind of player we see all the time at these big clubs - Comes through as a promising youngster, starts like a house on fire then slowly falls behind.

For £40mil, they could have got someone much better - Panic buy I think.

Ole hounded out by the media and fans.

Man Utd done nothing since he left.

Ole wasn’t up to it, neither is Ralph

But most lies with the players. 90% ain’t good enough.
Dalot, McTom, Fred, Maguire, Wan Bissaka, Lindeloff, Rashford, Sancho

All mid table fodder, or worse…..
