Leftfield, but - George Hirst - only because I actually saw his farewell Wednesday appearance away at Reading as a 77min sub.

His only other appearance was as a 91min sub in the EFL cup away at Cambridge.

So, less than 20 mins on the pitch - has any ex-player played less?

How long was floro on the pitch for ?

Urby Emanuelson.

That Cambridge game went to extra time.

David Kasnik

Signed on loan in 2011 under Gary Megson from Olimpia Ljubljana. Despite being here for 6 months he made zero appearances. He currently plays for Rudar Velenje in the Slovenian second division. Not sure I would have messed with him though.

Current world goal keeper of the year, Emiliano Martinez

Completely passed me by he played for us in the 2013-14 season

We've had some pearlers of GK loan signings in recent times

Reminded the other day that we had Scott Carson for a handful of games

Probably more so because back then he was referred to as Damian Martinez as that’s his given first name. It was only after returning to Arsenal he started being known as Emi.

Personally I can’t help but remember because he was in goal for that cup game vs. Charlton where if we’d won we’d have had the Blades away in the quarter final, with a visit to Wembley on the line.

It was all set up nicely so naturally we Wednesday’d it and lost lol

Handful of games.  He practically kept us up on his own.  Probably one of our best ever loan signings.

Scott Carson was immense.

His performance away at Wolves was possibly the best individual performance I’ve seen from a Wednesday player.

Pretty sure he got 10/10 in The Star match report.

First forgettable player :  Brian Usher 1965/66 - could run very fast after the ball, but then would fall over it!

Bit unfair that. I thought he had some good games for us. I seem to remember he even started to tackle occasionally.

I remember him only for the Fall of the Useless Usher.

I remember him as the first signing I saw that I thought to be really rubbish
