Adedeji Oshilaja - came on loan from Cardiff and had a weird habit of almost kneeling down to control the ball with his chest. Now forming a decent career at Charlton Adam Davies - the one that got away tbh. Signed on a free from Everton’s academy and was on the bench a bunch of times as back up to Kirkland over a two year period but never made an appearance in the end. Released him and Barnsley took him on. Made nearly 200 apps for them before going onto Stoke for free. Very highly rated and just about hitting his peak - also played internationally for Wales. Damian Martinez - more commonly known now as Emiliano Martinez. We had him on loan from Arsenal in 2013 and he made a handful of appearances for us. Nothing spectacular. Loan spells kept happening but he FINALLY broke into arsenals first 11 and earned a move to Villa where he’s thriving as one of the leagues best keepers. Who’d have thought it?
