We lost

We had a man sent off for kicking a player in his throat

Our keeper pushed the ball to their striker on the penalty spot to score a goal against us

We had 26% possession

We had ZERO - repeat ZERO shots on target

So........

It wasn't any kind off 'improvement' over Monk's games

I'm not saying Monk was the right manager

I'm not saying under Pulis it won't get much much better

But I'm not and never would try to claim it was an 'improvement' on the recent games

Come on...

Let's be honest

We've had more red cards than goals in the last 7 games...surely that counts for something???

I have worked with Gards at WBA. He’s a good coach.

Kempy couldn’t come because of an illness to his mother in law.

I have known Mike for years. He brings a lot of experience. He will help us with the recruitment in the years to come.

On Paterson playing in Midfield

You have got Massimo who is quite happy to hold and play with the two centre-backs.

Paterson can score a goal from midfield.

I think Paterson arriving late is as dangerous as anyone in the Championship but everything went out of the window after the red card.

Paters only arrives late because he runs like a toddler in a shitty nappy .

When he talks about injuries I’m not sure which ones we’re on about here because as far as I can see there’s only really Iorfa missing who you’d start. Oh and Flint but centre half is the only position where we have 2 championship players for every position

Is that just a figure of speach or is he actually thinking of staying?

Pulis said: “We came here with a game plan, we started with a 4-3-3 and wanted to get Moses and Reachy pushing up and down the flanks.

“But, obviously, after 15 minutes our game plan went out of the window.

“I thought their effort and commitment was absolutely fabulous. You have to give the lads a lot of credit. Preston only had one shot at goal and that was their goal.

“We showed some good things today, but there are things we need to improve. There are some tough games coming up.”

Windass will miss the Owls’ next three games through suspension after his dismissal at Deepdale.

Pulis added: “I haven’t seen the red card back yet. His foot was high and I don’t think we’ll be able to appeal it.

“Red cards are not what we need right now and the three games Josh is going to miss is going to hurt us.

“I think Josh could have headed it. He says he was trying to get it out to Reachy but unfortunately didn’t see the player until late and after that it’s a throw of a coin.”

So then TP,  Paterson is the new Kieran Lee

lord help us.

He's played in the middle for Cardiff previously hasn't he.

Infsct, I recall Warnock telling Kamara and Shepherd on that Sunday show that it was his most effective position.
