He's not the big name which fans love, maybe not the man to manage the big super stars. Doing brilliant at West Ham and long may it continue. Ridiculous, Jeff. I agree, more annoying was Sky calling game a local derby. There's a bit of rivalry between clubs bit it's not a derby, they are not even in same county never mind same city. When I used to go to Palace games with my friends in the late ‘90s they definitely saw Brighton as their main rivals. They didn’t when I used to go there. Charlton and Millwall used to get an occasional mention, but Brighton and Man Utd were sung about. I also had a few Charlton-supporting friends and they seemed to be far more bothered about Palace than vice-versa. Maybe it’s changed since then.
