Wanders to local playing fields and offers to take a training session for some u11 players in the local team. I wonder how many of them understand Spanish. Fallen through now, so the next person they approach will be their sixth choice I think? Not sure why they aren’t in for Benitez really, he’s available and you know what you’re getting with him. It’s also a bit crazy to me why they’re in for someone like Gattuso in the first place… he’s achieved nothing as a manager at all, might as well go for someone like Dyche or Potter who have at least proven themselves with a smaller club
edmontonowl
Spurs aren't making themselves look good with all these failed manager attempts. Should have stuck with Poch

Ten Haag Bielsa Benitez (as last resort, but safe pair of hands) On a completely unrelated note, what happened to Frank Rikyard as a manager. He built a very good Barca team then seemed to disappear and never seen againm

They just about clung on to 3rd place in La Liga in his final season and haven't finished outside the top 2 since, until this season. He had a particularly poor short spell at Galatasary after that and the same in charge of the Saudi Arabian national team.
fudge27
Thank you for that. I recall his brief spell in Turkey, but thought he'd have got another gig by now at a relatively big club.

He leaves Leeds when he sees it as job done or Leeds ownership mess him about. He just dosnt give a damn about big money offers from a random team. It's about the story of it all. Southie_Owl
Benitez to Everton, he’s a good manager but I can understand why their fans aren’t happy. Having a Liverpool legend as manager, once he starts losing a few games it becomes ugly. But at least he guarantees they won’t be relegated as he’s good at his job.
