Toadie
A blow for Wednesday's pursuit of Josh Windass, this. Other clubs circling on him. Windass has a close relationship with James Beattie. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/exclusive-sheffield-wednesday-bid-josh-windass-rejected-wigan-athletic-2947087
Popular Post Nero
I would like us to sign him. He is experienced at this level and while not a worldbeater, seems motivated and has a goal in him.
Popular Post bigdan2003
This is a new low. The administrators of a club currently desperate for money, reject our offer. 1
WalthamOwl
Must have been a crazy low offer for a club in their position to reject it! 3

room0035
I thought I saw in the press the other day, the Owls were trying to get him on a free, where as the administrators are probably wanting funds in to pay for club running costs. Do we actually know what sum they have offered for him or is it that old chestnut undisclosed.
0114
Must be a very low offer, was rumoured the other week was hoping to take him for free. I assume this is a transfer that will get done, can’t imagine the fee is anything more than £500k. I’d have not been too fussed on Windass prior to the points deduction, but think in reality with the circumstances he’s as good as we can hope for this summer.
jonnyowl
We'll get him, we know Cahnsiri asks for ridiculous sums for our players so wouldn't surprise me if we had offered something ridiculously low especially given there situation. Would love to sign Morsy from them too.

deano
More encouraging that we have actually offered money for a player. Hopefully have more to spend on players who could improve the first 11.
striker
Nixon suggested Wigan still owe Rangers money for him. Administrators unlikely to do a deal that costs them money so expect this is the sticking point.
King_Monkey
He’s already looked at houses in Sheffield. Low offer gone in and if Wigan don’t get a buyer by next week he goes for free. 5

Wednesday_Jack
I’d be happy to see him back...1:4 / 1:3 attacking player. He won’t set the world on fire but he’s steady.
