Dawson - 7

Bystander. Kicking was a bit dodgy first half but again commanded his area well and seems to be growing in confidence

Palmer - 8

Good game and his link up play and awareness is as good as it’s ever been. Unlucky not to score

Iorfa - 8

Usual dominant display. Moved to RB and played just as well.

Lees - 8

Won everything in the air. Been very good since his return

Fox - 6 was looking fine up until his injury, hope it’s not serious

Borner - 8

Again, another player who looked like he’d never been away. We are so comfortable at the back

Harris - 8

How much energy does this kid have? Never looks tired, still bombing at their full-back in the 90th min. Going to be a huge player for us

Luongo - 9 MOM

Very intelligent player. Was superb at intercepting play. Very tidy and always looks to knick the ball and get things moving.

Bannan - 9

Could easily have been MOM too. Was the match winner today and should have had that caption a lot more often in his time with us.

Reach - 8

Never stopped running and some neat touches. Him and Harris on each wing with their constant energy must be a nightmare for defenders

Rhodes - 6

Didn’t happen for him today. Worked hard but it wasn’t sticking

Dave - 7

I am not an advocate for Dave starting games as it changes our style and we seem much more laboured in the final third. But in flashes it can be effective, and he won us the match today

I more or less agree with the ranking but you must have had one or two Christmas sherries to give those ratings.

Close. Maybe a point high all round. I went for Harris but Palmer had a good game. Bannan, Luongo were good. Nice to see Borner back. Loved the bit where Iorfa was behind their player by a yard in the 6 yard box but accelerated past him and shepherded the ball out. So fast.

Not a great game but we won. Well done all round.

Börner for me, despite coming on midway through. He was an absolute wall.

All the back line were class, we barely put a foot wrong defensively. Bazza great afternoon about 20min. Luongo dogged. Reach and Harris a constant threat. Good performances all round.

Couldn't choose between Borner and Palmer.

Chose Borner because he came on as sub, settled in immediately.

Got cut early, but never shied away from anything. bullied the attackers rather than being bullied.

Hard working performance all round, can't fault anyone significantly.

Gave it to Bazza for how coolly he put that penalty away (never a penalty, but we were due one of those).

39 points from 23 is a very good return. I think the gap to Leeds and Wet Bum is a real one, but if we can stay the pace until the 11th it could be all to play for then.

Felt obliged to go with Bannan, but I thought Reach was good today too. He's struggled a lot at times this season, but he really kept at it today.

Credit to all the defence, not least because of the reshuffle in which all three remaining defenders after Fox went off had to change position. It was an almost seamless change though. Very solid defensive unit today. Dawson too - not a great deal to do but looks so much more commanding and confident in his area now.
