When asked by Lincoln journalists after the match if he expects to be at Lincoln for the rest of the season he replied no one knows what tomorrow can bring. I don't trust secondary sources, irrespective of who states it, until I see or read some direct evidence. I enjoy rumours and speculation, but I take them all with a pinch of salt. There may well be something in that, but league 1 is a competitive league, Sunderland, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Donny etc will all be expecting a strong tilt at promotion. Lincoln had a cracking start but its a long old slog, what if they start to struggle and finish off bottom end, Cowleys reputation would take a hit and possibly make the 'bigger' offers dry up. Timing is everything in football, their star is shinning bright at the min, be we've all seen how fickle football can be, a few bad results and you're gone. Who knows what tomorrow brings?
