Bruce has asked for weekend to consider

Look how simple this is, Newcastle could pay the compo 20x over upfront with the revenue they've received in the last few weeks, sky money, season ticket sales, advertising revenue, 30 million for Perez, so fat mouth Ashley, either pay the compo and you can have Bruce, Agnew and clemence or chuck yourself in the Tyne and make a lot of people happy.

Before all this chaos with our manager, I had them down as a bottom six club at best. Irrespective who takes over. Compared to other squads, they don't have the talent to compete week in week out. Hard work will get them so far, but where will their goals come from. Their main striker played in the championship last season and there is no guarantee of investment from the current or next owner.

If had spare 10er I'd be having it on them to get relegated,  11/4 seems quite generous.

Totally agree but my point was that they have the potential to be a top six club.

I feel right sorry for people having to take a pay cut to a million per year. Hardly worth getting up for innit

Anyone else think that we'll hear something now that cricket has finished

Super Overs in training tomorrow morning for team building purposes.

Then penalty practice in the afternoon.

What a game of cricket that was!

I've watched the cricket, but turned over for Formula 1

After F1 I've resumed watching cricket at the point where I left off

I've got right up to the super over

Then the wife showed me a picture on her Ipad of England cricketers holding the world cup

She does shiit like this regularly

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Get her back with Bake Off and Eastenders! (if you can be arsed)

How did you have the willpower to stop at the super overs?!

I carried on watching, but I knew the result, and I was still nervous

That would suit Newcastle perfectly. Fluffy the manager to go with Flappy the owner. lol

Northampton game, if the situation is still the same. It would be very admirable for us to bring that same energy "Steve Bruce's barmy army"

Chansiri is fighting to keep hold of steve Bruce and so should we.

Don't make it an easy decision for him, by conducting yourself in distasteful manner. Its nothing to be proud of and you'll only be representing yourself, not the fanbase

It’s ok fighting to make him stay but what happens the next time a premiership team want a manager and come looking at him. Do we have to go through all this again?  Get the compo we are entitled to and let him go, it’s obvious he has no loyalty to anyone but himself (just look what’s happened at other clubs ). Move on.
