IF Bruce decided to leave, while I wouldn't hate him for it, it would be abundantly clear that he was just chasing the money and he wouldn't be the principled manager, who insisted on having full control that we all thought he was. The media keep pushing it, so maybe they know something or maybe they're being sold a story because it could still yet be a smokescreen for some other target? However, they don't seem to have a clue like us. Some are saying Bruce has turned it down, some saying it's done and some suggesting it's some kind of smokescreen. Until something is confirmed one way or the other, I wouldn't believe anything. It's also an absolutely critical time in terms of player negotiations, the transfer window and pre-season preparation. I hope Bruce stays but if he's going, then get it over and done with because we'll need a replacement, it's disruptive and there's not long till the season starts.
