  1. I'd be content with Ryan Lowe, should he ever manage here. Although he's not had any promotions above League Two. Don't really see how Lowe or a random foreigner is a better candidate than an Alex Neil, etc, given that Neil's been promoted as a manager in the Championship, and he's available.
  2. He'll get Moore the sack if this carries on. Hate to say it but our form has fallen off a cliff since he signed. Such a banter signing. Anyone with half a brain could see this was a desperate gamble.
  3. If I were Robins, I wouldn't leave Coventry either. He's done a fantastic job there. Still, stranger things have happened. Who would you rather have?
  4. Baring Ivic, they've all got promotions on their CVS. How many does Moore have?
  5. Paul Cook Alex Neil Danny Cowley Darren Ferguson Grant McCann Vladimir Ivic Tony Mowbray Mark Robins Kenny Jackett Daniel Stendel If any of the above would be willing to work under a total cretin like DC, then I’d happily have them manage at S6. I’m fine with giving Moore a bit of time to turn us around but he’s floundering right now.
  6. I find it amusing how any fan can critique any manager/head coach's performance last season, or blame them for our relegation. Didn't we have about 6/7 people take charge of our dugout if you include caretaker managers etc. Basket case of a club. What's happening in the dugout is almost inconsequential when the club is a rotten from the very top. And I'm no Pulis lover and was gutted when he was given the job here.
  7. The above makes AFC Wimbledon sound like Bayern Munich or prime Barcalona or something! Just for some perspective, Wimbledon have failed to win any of their last 4 League One games, including 3 defeats and a 3-0 humping by Rotherham United. I don't expect us to beat anyone in this division. But anything less than 3 points today is cause for concern IMO.
  8. No individual manager is to blame for our relegation IMO. But with the last 20 minutes remaining of last season, we were outside the relegation zone. As @CircleSeven has put above, the margins ended up being very tight. Your post seems to indicate that wasn't the case and we were inevitably going to go down regardless of what was happening off the pitch. If SWFC had been ran without the wreckless abandon that we've come to expect in the DC era, we might not be midtable in League One right now. I don't know how any sensible fan can argue different.
  9. AFC Wimbledon have never been a Premiership/Premier League team.
  10. Then you'll surely agree that we didn't deserve to beat Shrewsbury the other week, despite missing a penalty and having a goal disallowed for offside? No misfortune in that result there? None at all? If you're going to be obtuse, you can't have it both ways.
  11. Whereas results such as, dropping points to tripe like Shrewsbury at home and getting absolutely routed by Plymouth away, will inevitably result in a season of disappointment, should they happen often enough. Forgive me if I've read your post wrong. But you seem to imply that there's nothing at all to be concerned about. I'm all for giving Darren Moore time. But let's not delude ourselves; it's not been a strong start to life in League One.
  12. Moore's been here 6 months. Regardless of what you think of the manager, or the dire football we're serving up, the club's hierarchy should be 100% focused on supporting the manager and helping him succeed, not replacing him.
  13. Really? It's a 50 minute drive from Hillsborough to Mansfield's ground. And loads will be going to top up their TPP.
  14. Paul Cook Alex Neil Danny Cowley Darren Ferguson Grant McCann Vladimir Ivic Tony Mowbray Mark Robins Kenny Jackett Daniel Stendel If any of the above would be willing to work under a total cretin like DC, then I’d happily have them manage at S6. 15. It's an amazing effort from our travelling fans. The club really don't deserve the support they get.
  16. Just remind us again, what division were we in when DC took over from Milan? And did we have any financial issues hanging over the club when Milan departed?
  17. I'm not a fan of these d*ck-measuring contests but in almost every single objective calculation, Sunderland are the biggest club in League One.
  18. And should they get called up for their respective nations, best of luck to them both. But I'd lose quite a bit of respect for Darren Moore if he pulled the plug and caused the fixture to be rescheduled to a Tuesday night. Thus creating a needless fixture pile-up.
  19. You don't need to be a modern day saint to know that bigoted slurs are a no-no, whether it's in real life or on the internet. I'm baffled at how many are decrying this bloke getting his comeuppance.
  20. Nah, it's really not that hard to behave like a decent human being. At 18 years old, you're an adult. With that comes responsibility and consequences. The real question for me, in this particular situation, is - why the hell has it taken 9 years for this issue to be dealt with?
  21. Don't make bigoted slurs, don't get a ban. Not exactly rocket science.
  22. Would be a total joke if another of our fixtures gets lost because of international call-ups. It's League One FFS. The vast majority of players in this division will never get a sniff of international football. A reserve left-back getting a call-up for Djibouti (just a daft example off the top of my head) shouldn't result in an English third tier game getting rescheduled.
  23. Grasping at straws. We should be beating the likes of Shrewsbury.
