I'm reliably informed its either Aguero or Salah, it's been financed by the Nuhui out brigade.

Wouldn’t that be a mouth watering trident, Aguero, Salah and Nuhiu Tear the Championship a new one, especially with Rhodes pushing them from the bench

While I'm not getting carried away, we seem to be making some good free transfer signings. Players with experience, still good ages and addressing weaknesses in our squad.

All of little risk, as most if not all will have a transfer value when under contract and suspect lower wages than most of those released at the end of last season

Well that’s four very good signings with no outlay on fees. If the MK rumour and the loan signing pan out, we will have strengthened considerably. IF there’s some cash free for a marquee signing too then I’m already optimistic we can do well next season.

MK? Sorry, not keeping up

One day hopefully our dreams will come true.

Aneke, Borner, Harris, Odubajo, Cattermole would all add things we have been missing and with minimal outlay on fees but who knows on wages.

We’d still need a box to box midfield player though together with another centre half (Hector) and ideally another winger forward. We must be shifting a few.

Embargo: In a nutshell, it means the club are unable to register new players until the terms of the embargo are lifted. The club have been widely linked with a number of signings, with Steve Bruce keen to add six players to his squad before the season starts, and are understood to have agreed terms with free agents Moses Odubajo and Julian Börner. A further free transfer with Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris is being negotiated, but is unlikely to be confirmed while the ruling is still in place.

The Star understands Wednesday have been in regular dialogue with the EFL and are confident the ban will soon be lifted. It is believed the Owls are edging nearer to posting their accounts. As soon as Wednesday have satisfied the EFL's requirements, they should get the green light to trade again.
