Rebowl Yell
Be nice to watch a team that doesn’t play the same every 7 games out of 8 for once. Just for that alone I’m on board.

If Carlos had done that with Rhodes , the lad would probably have scored 15 already this season. Incorrect. He will quickly work out Rhodes is bobbar and focus on the players we have with talent

How many times have Fox, Wallace, Palmer etc failed with an adequate cross in to the box? When a ball does come in it’s a useless floaty thing that’s “meat and drink” for keepers and defenders.

This Honeystone's comments are encouraging, but Rocket's right to be sceptical at this stage. We all are, BR. Jos has never managed in this country before so of course it's a gamble. The Blades will be looking to make sure he gets off to a bad start. I'd have chosen Karanka, simply because he knows this division inside-out and he's already got a team similar to ours out of it. I thought maybe that he wouldn't come here because of the state we're in, but he's gone to Forest so you'd assume he'd have come here.

He doesn't look overly charismatic and effectively for those on here scoffing at the notion of Gary Megson, he's effectively a German version by the sounds of his tactual history and what he stands for. I am more concerned then confident. Let's see. Hopefully he will be a great appoitment but as things stand it looks like a huge risk. pazowl55
At the end of the day all @RocketOwl is doing is voicing a concern about his doubts that the new manager will succeed. Which he is entitled to do. And he has has a valid point in the fact the football Carlos has been playing for the last two seasons seems to not be a lot different to what Jos is going to be delivering us, if what we read is true. However where I believe he is wrong is that it seems to have worked for Jos as he has 3 promotions to his name. If Jos wants to serve up Carlos football then so be it as long as it gets us results. As that is ultimately all that matters, getting results to get us in the premier league. And let's face it Man City are the only team that really back up good football with consistent results. Because Honigstein and Rhind-Tutt are highly intelligent people who’ve forgotten more about football than most on here will ever know in their lifetimes, me included. I wish someone would do a montage of all the headed sitters JR has missed this season and we could finally put these Rose tinted specs back in grandma Rhodes glasses case. VS QPR two yards out, skies a header over the bar Vs Burton unmarked straight at keeper to make it 1:1 Sunderland high and wide, Carlisle wide, Wolves before they scored header wide 'he should be scoring there' according to commentator, etc. He offers nothing. No physicality, pace 1, strength 1, passing 1, falling on the floor 10, clapping at players when they set him up and he misses 10. Lets put it this way he'd be below Nuhiu if it were top trumps!
