goodytheowl
This thread is embarrassing. So many Wednedayites on here think they know so much about football when they know absolutely foook all relatively to the people that are profesional. Give the man a chance. He'd be one of if not the manager with the highest credentials in management that we've ever had. Give it a go and get behind the club.
Birley Owl 1867
Doubt it'll be him anyway. He'd be better than cc though.

scilly owl
The fact that McClaren was even considered and met the Chairman highlights the fact that our glorious leader really does need to be enlightened in the art of avoiding footballing self destruction and humiliation. BRADDO
This just doesn't make sense. DC, relax and let Bully do his stuff and Wait for The right man. Would be a crazy appointment
Quist
Perhaps he is to become Director of Football, this would mean giddings howson and Nixon all correct? I am not suggesting this but just trying to understand whats happening.

But if it is him, he will get my full support until results say otherwise. I would rather gouge my eyes out with a red hot poker than have McClaren as manager. DC wants a big name manager, McClaren is not a big name he is a joke.
Johnny Concrete
Obviously the financial side of the club must be better than I thought because salary wise I would imagine McLaren is certainly someone who will be in a high bracket?
