Dave78
Pressman's the best keeper we've had since I started going in the late 80's. Westwood's done really well for us, but Pressman was playing at an higher level and was very consistent.
Dizzys Dad
Peter Shilton by a mile. Played for us against the pigs in ( I think) Woodward's testimonial. Edited November 10, 2017 by Dizzys Dad Spelling
roaminowl
Definitely Ron Springett. Pressman wouldn't even get in my top ten. 2

Blue and white
Think it's universally accepted that Ron Springett is our greatest ever keeper. However he was before my time so basing this on players I've seen over the years it has to be Pressman.
hirstyno9
Martin Hodge – most consistent top flight goalkeeper I can recall. Gutted he didn’t get to the World Cup in ’86. I will never forgive Chris Woods for what he did. Inexcusable. We at least deserved pens that night.

james o connor
We have always had decent number 1s . I can’t go on about the likes of springett As they was before my time . all out keepers even I’m the darkest hours were pretty decent . They all have their flaws ( pressmans movement , grants handling , Westwood’s kicking , )but with the exception of old Tidman, I can’t think of one bought in as a number one who was poor. pgmetcalf
Would probably have to be the one with most games played and fewest clean sheets, or at least goals conceded

Ian
Also whilst a pure statistical analysis would be good and interesting to see, it might be a bit unfair on some of the old timers who played behind a 2-3-5 formation and also whoever had to play behind Cranson and May Edited November 10, 2017 by Ian

Has anyone got any video footage of this game? there isn't any ......I believe the story goes that the company that video'd games back then got the kick off time wrong and didn't turn up .
