Westwood 8 

hunt 8- better games for us 

sasso -8.5 overall pretty solid 

loovens -8.5 

fox-9 good goal, defended superbly 

 

Wallace -9 cracking goal, good link up and few good crosses 

hutch- 8 made the first, Shame he came off 

bannan -9 ran the show when on ten pitch 

forestieri -9.5 energy, link up, tracking back, goal and assists did everything right 

 

Rhodes -9 took his goals well 

winnal 8.5 clever link up, deserved a goal 

 

macca, jones - 7.5 

semedo - 100

Expected a tough game today and possibly only a point from a tight game......How wrong can you be :)

FF was mom for me,with some noteable performance from the rest,especially BB and Wallace,thought young Fox did well considering he was bieng tugged back for his goal,and Sasso looked much improved.

FF outwide two strikers and we looked a class above a norwich side that of late had been vastly improved.

Nice to se Semedo get game time as well today.

Onwards and upwards hopefully with this same 11 for the remaining games.

The Fulham game will be a biggie!

The whole team played well, great effort and henergy from the start but Fernando was on another level. They kicked him, grabbed him, fouled him, even elbowed him off the field but he still kept going.

 

And that free kick looked amazing from the Kop.

They did know how to deal with him. Their idea of dealing with him was to elbow him to the floor and constantly rugby tackle him. Fortunately the ref started penalising them for it in the second half.

I gave it to Wallace because I thought he created much of the closing down tempo early on. He pressed their left back every time he got the ball. 

His goal was incredible and could have been goal of the day, and whenever he has the ball wide, he never wastes it. Even under pressure a couple of times kept possession and whipped in a great cross once that no one read.

Both full backs are crossing earlier now, particularly hunt, who seems to be trying to hit that early cross following that great cross to Winnall against brum.

Maybe it's Jordan telling them to get it in quick?

We did something we've struggled to do all season. We made the most of our opportunities.

 

We had nearly 30 shots against Brentford, created some great chances, and scored 1 goal.

 

5 shots on target today. 5 goals. Incredible.

 

 

Westwood 7 

 

Hunt 7 - Barely put a foot wrong and put a couple of great crosses in.

 

Sasso 8 - Huge difference from last week. Great performance.

 

Loovens 7 - Solid as ever.

 

Fox 8 - Was left to fend for himself for most of the game, but defended superbly. Crossing could have been better.

 

Wallace 6 - Offered very little other than the goal.

 

Hutch 8 - Dominant. Set the tone with his lung bursting run that led to the first goal.

 

Bannan 8 - Probably his best performance of the season. Brilliant cross for Rhodes' 2nd.

 

FF 8 - In a position he's looked uninterested in playing this season, he was superb. Worked hard and bagged 2 assists and a goal.

 

Winnall 6 - Put himself about, worked his nads off but lacked quality with the ball at his feet.

 

Rhodes 8 - Did what he's there to do, stuck the ball in the net.

fox 8 started ropey but turned it around fantastically 

Wallace 8 sometimes useless , sometimes not. Today was the latter . Thank god the chance fell to him 

Hutchinson 7 shame he went off . Credit for the first

bannan 9 his biggest critic. Today he was fantastic 

ff 9 in his correct position 

Rhodes 8 two great headers and excellent work rate

winnall 8 offers so much to the team. Great work ethic and a perfect partner for Rhodes 

 

jones 7 best performance all season 

 

Carlos ..... surely even he must realise this is Better than parking ourselves once our own box
