aussieowl87
If Hooper had bagged the sitter it would have been a different game Log story short, without Fessi & Bannan we are bang average against a very very disciplined defence. our front line has been completely subdued and their shape defensively has left us with no options going forwards. shows the gulf in class. can focus on the league now (barring a nuhiu hattrick)... Bluesteel
Joao been atrocious. I wouldnt go that far but it should calm some people down about him and the 15m fantasy bids
Mollymae's Dad
Hooper is great in the box.....he'll have a great view from there
modboy
only benefit of this is that it may put of PL teams bidding for our better players Edited December 1, 2015 by modboy
joelswfc
A real shame that we have had an off night against Prem opposition. Can't let it affect our league form and mentality though - Really hope we have no serious injuries tonight.
Guest Darkus Owlus
Absolute b@ll@x This So we've not conceeded a few from that position this season? We have, get to the games.
mrgund
I hope there were some Premiership scouts sniffing about watching Joao here cos if so it is safe to say he isn't going anywhere any time soon.

StudentOwl
Good cup run but this is clearly a game too far. Stoke haven't got out of first gear. Neither have we in fairness, although the difference being that Stoke's first gear has been by design- ours has been with averageness (not a word but I'm sticking with it)
SiJ
I hope there were some Premiership scouts sniffing about watching Joao here cos if so it is safe to say he isn't going anywhere any time soon. They'd bid for Helan anyway.
Bluesteel
If Hooper had bagged the sitter it would have been a different game Log story short, without Fessi & Bannan we are bang average I was thinking that, shows how reliant we are on a couple of key players. Not just today but a the last three games The same can be said for most decent championship sides, other than perhaps the top 4.
Suzuki_San
They've been hugely better than Arsenal. Harried and hurried us, been calm on the ball, positive...we've been very average (much like our last few games) and Hutch has been his usual reckless self. Was only going to go one way. Let's just hope Lees and Loovens will be ok!

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Everton maybe, but Stoke? Yes in the past but they arent pulling up any trees at the moment - the perfect time to play them. Bottom line, we haven't really turned up and the whole occasion just seems to have got to us Yes - Stoke City, the established Premier League team who have beaten Chelsea and Southampton, drawn with Tottenham and Leicester, and sit 12th in the league table. Why should we be expecting to challenge them unless they have an off day?
Captain Sl-OWL-ly
They'd bid for Helan anyway. Let's hope so eh ?

Holmowl
Game over - all been a bit of a waste of time really, and we have picked up unwanted injuries... Feel sorry for the travelling fans...Derby going to be very hard now at the weekend Strap yourselves in for a poor run of results One bad evening against a good Prem side without our two best players. Be tonnes better v Derby at home! Edited December 1, 2015 by Holmowl
MAL
Not sure what it is about us but any free kick within 25 years against us is guarenteed to sail in. So we've not conceeded a few from that position this season? We have, get to the games. Make your mind up pal. Then you switch to normal mode, personal, nice one.
