That stadium is designed for the drone shots isn't it?

When I was a kid I got a book with aerial shots of every ground in the EFL for Christmas. For years my favourites were grounds like Hull and Reading that looked brilliant from the air. Then I actually went to them...

Whatre they doing to it? I know Madrid put a roof on their stadium during Covid (is that finished now?)

Looks like theyre knocking the whole thing down.

I thought Everton were supposed to be moving into their new ground for the start of next season, but that looks unlikely now. Seems it won't be finished until midway through the 24/25 season, giving the dilemma of whether to move grounds in the middle of the season, or delay the opening until the start of 25/26.

So Goodison may see Championship football yet!

Nou Camp upgrade. 105,000.

Think I prefer the look of the Madrid upgrade. .

It looks like a sardine tin with the lid off!

Interesting going back to the start of this topic. Anfield, Etihad and Ashton Gate pre-expansion.

London stadium (modified) and Tottenham stadiums pre build.

Lots of talk about how well run Scunthorpe are and the new stadium they had planned. They will play in the national league north next season and still no stadium. Incredible how quickly the wheels can come off. Huge shame.

The pic in that article is nowt like it is now

The superstructure is up and the roof structure especially over the 2 ends looks almost finished

So not true that most of the building materials were nicked then? lol
