Maddogbob
The Olympic stadium looks like its going to be horrendous to watch football in. Looks really souless with that running track. Unless they have retractable seating to cover it. The atmosphere will really suffer there imho as well.

owl_83
I thought they were not getting rid of the track? They chose West Ham because they were willing to keep the athletics legacy. Tottenham wanted to get rid of the track and rebuild Crystal Palace which was turned down.
jamsandwich
those olympic photos are of it right at the start of re-construction... THeres retractable seating over the running track now (like in the Stade France in Paris)

mattitheowl
The new main stand at Anfield is going to be about 300 miles away from the pitch by the look of it! Just not bothered...

WadsleyOwl
Anfield looks and will be shocking, what a mess that stadium will look, oppportunities that club have had to move on to a new stadium but the traditionalists won over. It still won't be a patch on OT, Emirates, Etihad, new WHL, Olympic, or a redeveloped Stamford Bridge. Huge ball dropped if you ask me.
eDDie
The problem with Anfield is not the new Main Stand, which in itself will be very impressive - it's how it will look next to that shitty away end. It'll look even more ridiculous than Leeds' 'one real stand and three cowsheds' concept.
