He should know how we have improved the squad considerably over the last few days and if thats not a good incentive then he should go elsewhere. He started ok, went missing for a large period and then came to life towards the end of the season, we need to ask ourselves why? The lad put himself in the shop window and it worked, he doesn't care what club he signs for he just wants a decent wage. Agreed. I guess he's entitled to get the best deal he can (club/wage), but likewise we are entitled to not wait around and get fvked about. We don't know what wranglings are going on behind the scenes and Mellor may be as keen to get the deal done as some of us are but must wait until the power brokers are happy. Last season was a disaster and the more players we lose from it the better. We should be getting players in who want to play for the club - there are plenty of players on free transfers who would do a job and be desperate to impress - the type of player Wilkinson used to sign. Sense at last plus you could add that we're just as likely to have flies in the ointment as are Preston NE. No less likely to happen than it was a week ago though, if not done within couple of days of GM getting back then think we can forget it.
