I didn't have a season ticket last season but did the season before. Due to work commitments, domestic issues, and my Mum being ill, rest in peace Mum, I didn't make full use of the ticket and didn't bother last season with a season ticket.

 

Not bothering this season at those prices either. Also not going to be going to many matches on matchday tickets if he is going to take the pish, just out of principle.

Ive bought my early bird, they can sell the empty seats for a tenner for me, I don't mind subsidising Wednesday fans who can't ante up..Ive had mates do the same for me in times past.

do like johnny cash and wear black to all matches until something changes.

find something that isn't prohibited to take in the stadium like a soft toy, and everyone throw them on the pitch at half time.   a different item every match.

or if you can't get them in throw them in the players/vip car park.

pick a number of a season/match ticket price and  protest at that minute with 5 minutes of silence.

everybody jam the phone lines all week, leave the same protest message about pricing

everybody spam the club email(s) with the same protest picture

same with the club, players and officials spam their social media with the same protest picture

don't tear down the chansiri banner, cover it in kids stickers every week

Where do we even start with this, eh?

 

This is the chairman who...

• tried to get around P&S rules by selling the stadium
• f*cked it up, and got us a points deduction which saw us relegated to League One
• failed to pay the players on time
• referred to fans who requested a refund for missed games due to covid lockdowns as 'bad customers'
• blamed the fans for the club missing out on an 'eight to nine figure sponsorship deal'
• has failed to implement anything like a sustainable transfer policy in his eight and a half years at the club, choosing to hike up prices for kits and tickets to the highest rates in the Championship instead
• has publicly criticised every ex-manager apart from Carvalhal, revealing private details of contract negotiations in the process, as well as referring to Luhukay as 'little Hitler'
• spent 15 minutes of a press conference called to unveil Xisco Muñoz ranting about fans, social media, and Carlton Palmer

'Is he really that bad?' you ask...

I've been a season ticket holder for the entirety of the Chansiri era.

 

Not for a single second have I agreed with his pricing structure. Championship or League One.

 

You might get the odd one or two but in the main, all fans are against it.

I think everyone who relies on match day tickets expects to be paying a bit more than the season ticket holders to watch each game.

 

But being asked to pay £13-£36 more to watch each game is ridiculous.
