Is he the 15 year old who played in the u18s cup run last year? If so he looked like the most promising one on the pitch.

But....... You win some you lose some in junior footy

More lose though with us TBF.

That’s him, then we spunk money on players nobody wants for nowt and we can’t offload like Sow.

Scouting system stinks.

You do wonder what's the point when anyone half decent can get cherry picked.

Exactly.

In the last 10-15 years what has it produced?

Dawson

Palmer

Wildsmith

Hirst taken by Leicester for nothing.

Anything else worth mentioning?

What does it cost? £1m per year? Must be at least £500K per year.

That doesn’t look like a good return on investment to me.

does he come from down that way ?......big move if he's a sheffield lad at 16 years of age .

Was thinking about this earlier.

If the circumstances were the other way round and I was a 16 year old at League One Brentford and Premier League Sheffield Wednesday came calling, I'd be off.

No he’s from Loxley, Wednesday through and through like  the rest of his family,  he’s a great lad from a lovely family I happen to know,  fantastic opportunity and I wish him all the best in his career

Shame about both him and Yogane. I was told that they both, but especially Holland are two of the best talents We had here for a long time.

Lets learn on mistakes and not let this happen ever again.

Despite this it looks like our youth development is moving in the right direction.

Brentford the team with no Ambition that sell their best players ,Are now signing some of our best youth .

Brentford are a club known for developing players and selling them on to bigger clubs for a tidy profit.

Where as we sign 30 year old crocks and bench most decent youngsters.
