He supports the club so he's on a sticky wicket emotionally. But I'm sure he can easily overlook that when it comes to business and making a return on his investment, especially at the expense of HRH Prince of Izal

cutting 🤣

particularly apt as he’s hemorrhoid-ing money

Signs on Cherry St/S St. or John St/S St.?

Yeah good point about the press. I doubt McCabe would have let that kind of news slip through his fingers.

The signs are on Shoreham St at the Cherry St end I think.

Looking at the article online, there is a large "Scarborough Holdings. Coming Soon" banner there. Others have said it is still there now.

Absolutely no chance development will be done over the carpark / around ground. SCC would never approve it anyway

...As much as I'd love them to though

Maybe not but McCabe could make life difficult for them re access etc.

There are Chattels in place that are older then anyone alive today.

Not in the public domain, however they are known to certain people.

Trust me, that land can be built on.

It's being held as a last chance saloon by the McCabe company - not McCabe himself any longer.

How incredibly lucky with their goals! Atrocious defending from Millwall. That 2nd one was unbelievable with player literally just passing it to thin air

I like to think that their win yesterday was down to poor opposition rather than them being anything special.

And of course, they managed to contrive to miss a penalty. Again. Penalty failure is becoming a bit of a speciality for The Blunts.

I'd be very shocked if they don't get in the top 6 this season tbh.

I just don't see the Champ as being all that strong right now.

Lot of average to poor sides and Dem Blades have a better starting XI than quite a few of them. It's not a great XI by any means, but it's got a bit of quality and knowhow that most other teams are missing.

Yep.

Championship is poor this year and full of really boring teams.

Preston, Blackburn, Wigan, Hull etc.

It's just oh so dreary.

Like a slow Northern Rail journey on a wet Wednesday in winter.

It's lacking a real "big" club to spark a bit of interest.

Someone who is not usually down there, a bit like Villa were a few years back or even say Newcastle.

This season, it just feels like the most Championship Championship of all time.

Everton would have been perfect lol

Did they really call themselves this a few years ago? They last got to a cup final in 1936, and the last time they actually won the Cup was 1925.

It was when they were in league one and reached semi final of league cup losing to Tottenham and then losing to Hull City in fa cup semi.
