legendaryswan Posted April 30, 2022 Share Posted April 30, 2022 Peacock-Farrell -6 distribution wasnt great Storey -7 goal got him out of jail, he was outpaced and slow to react for the goal Johnson-8 far better today Luongo -7 had a bitty game, lost out in quite a few ground duels Hutchinson 8 drove forward with purpose and looked really up for it, no silly tackles, all well timed today Palmer -7 had a hand in the confusion for goal, but got better as the game went on Hunt -7 passing and crossing radar wasnt working Byers -9 strong stuff at the heart of most things good, crowned it off with his goal Gregory -8 strong again, got into postions that hurt, real thorn when hes inform Berahino -7 closed down from the front, great goal in a crowded box, threaded his shot through the eye of needle Bannan -8 at the heart of everything good as always work ethic 2nd to none 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BPF 8 two outstanding saves. Top class the save from the header Hunt 6 worked hard but was a bit disappointed with his delivery today Storey 8 defended very well today. Extra point for the goal Hutchinson 7 is a leader at the back. Poor positioning for Hirst’s goal Palmer 7 awful marking for their goal but handled Hirst very well after that. Johnson 7 some awful crossing in the first 10 minutes but keeps going and another assist. A vital member of this team Luongo 8 brilliant footballer. Just does everything so simply Byers 8 was excellent today and capped it off with a great header Bannan 8 simply put we are screwed if he’s injured Berahino 7 lost the ball too many times for my liking but gets an extra point for the cool finish for the important second goal Gregory 9 is in brilliant form at the moment. Outstanding performance and another goal Paterson 6 Windass 7 Dele-Bashiru 6 Moore 7.5 excellent tactics today but I was screaming at him from 65 minutes to get Bannan and Gregory off and look what happened. Storey 8 much sounder game and deserved to score. Always a threat. Hutchinson 7 poor for the goal and the first 10 mins but settled well Palmer 8 strong game, both defensively and going forward Johnson 8 his final ball not brilliant recently but still a fine match Luongo 8 strong and sure throughout Bannan 9 terrific afternoon. Earned space and controlled the game. Byers 9.51 MoM - he’s played. Outstanding performance and lovely header. Gregory 9.5 wonderful striker display. His control and power were faultless. I’m delighted there’s only 5 days to the semi. The form he’s in he must be expecting to score every attack. Berahino 7.5 Pato 7 great sub to bring on. Windass 6 not himself. Not ready. Understandable. Dele 7 powerful sub to bring on in midfield. Hit a great right foot shot that was excellently saved by Pompey’s keeper. I’m not sure what he was booked for but he kept the level of intensity up for the team and did well considering the short time he was on the pitch. BTW - I hate the Pato nickname he has been given down here it’s absolutely poo . Dr Funk as he was known up the road in Scotland is miles better.
