We’d have him in a breath.

Yeah, that's a right ringing endorsement for a man vaunted as one of the all time greats:

A team in League One would have him in charge.

What a f*cking daft remark.

And I rate Biesla.

Most overhyped manager in the history of the game. More like most naive and stubborn manager ever!

We will see if he was overhyped over the next couple of seasons. If Leeds drop like a stone and don’t invest in the team, he clearly did an unbelievable job.

Don’t think it can be understated how he improved players like Ayling, Cooper, Bamford, Phillips, Dallas. All fairly average Championship players when he first joined the club.

All he did was really get his team really fit to out run the opponents

Soon as opponents found him out he had no answer.

How many top jobs has he had? What has he won at top European level?

Don’t think he’s ever really been that fussed about landing the top jobs.

Don’t think you can underestimate his influence in the game.

It appears that the genius has one style of play and it's all great until people work it out and/or his team run out of energy/enthusiasm after they've been worked to the bone for a few seasons.

It is hilarious to watch though.

Nailed it

This was the entire reasoning behind the ‘falling apart’ jibes when they appeared to be running away with promotion but seemingly bottled it. In reality the small squad burned out because it wasn’t possible to play that type of ‘hundred mile an hour’ football over the course of a season.

The same has happened again. The squad is burned out and with that the enthusiasm drops just as you’ve stated…. And this so called tactical genius has no answer for it. Some may argue that he sticks to his principles and believes in  his style of play … while others may argue it’s the only thing he knows and doesn’t actually have the tactical nounce to change it

I mean tbf Phillips was always rated in the best CMs in the league and was only 20/21 or so at the time.

I think he's overrated, but to have so many world class managers idolise him there's obviously stuff behind the scenes that happens which is what will set him apart and help him get that tune from lesser players and structure clubs.
