fpowl
Is that us also in for flint or Sunderland in for flint and batth personally if flints fit and I think he came back last season from being injured and played a big part of Cardiff’s season didn’t he? Might be wrong on that anyway flint and batth would he two welcome additions and offer us something different both end of the pitch because we’ve been shocking at set pieces both attacking abs defending this season both very capable / solid championship pedigree in league one you’d like to think they would shine. watchbus sign them both and them be ruled out of or rest of season
IWEDFM
Hate to say it but if that is the case then we can't compete with Sunderland. Bigger club, better promotion prospects, no transfer restrictions etc...

Hope we can match their bid and hope that the good memories of Wednesday are enough to bring him back. Will have little effect, all down to who pays the most £££
WalthamOwl
Reports Sunderland are set to announce the Batth signing. Gutted. Would have loved him back here. Can’t really blame him though.

Owl
Idid say in the transfer thread, Danny’s name hadn’t been mentioned. It’s the youth that we are after #uto
0114
Shame he’s going to Sunderland but clearly a better career path with him most likely being back in the Championship next season. Hope we can at least get the Preston lad done at least. I can’t believe we are 2/3 through January and we haven’t managed to bring in a CB despite knowing since November our issues. swfc1983
Fair enough we move on to other options Brighton lad and Storey from Preston still being linked.
WalthamOwl
One of the things I liked more about him is that he is a leader. Something we desperately need more of in the team.
Nut
What is it with Sunderland? They seem to get linked with every player we are. Maybe that shows there's not that many players to go round at this level in the positions we need to fill.
OriginalAlien
He can't be going to Sunderland. I'm sure I read on here that the commute to Sheffield would be too much for him, he'll never do the trip to Sunderland every day.
