matthefish2002
A manager talking up his club and players is hardly new or anything to get worked up about. Would undoubtedly be saying the same about Wednesday (or Sunderland) if we has him as manager. Just a bit of PR to sweet talk the Ipswich fans. Costello 77
I've always thought that a big club is defined by their supporters. Encouraging and cheering when their team's behind. Celtic and Rangers are a good example of this.

PortlandOwl
To think, some Wednesdayites wanted him as manager. He's clearly unbalanced.
thewookieisdown
I'm 54. In my lifetime they have won more than we have. My father is 90. Wednesday haven't won the league in his lifetime. Ipswich have. Big club status is (a) undefinable and (b) catnip to idiots. Pushed, I would go for us over Ipswich. But well done Mr Cook for successfully reeling them in here.
Road Runner
He’s just sweet talking the Ipswich fans and board because he knows he’s near the sack. He says they have the best squad in the league and are sat 20th, that is admitting he’s failing with those set of players after all they are the best. He will be gone within a month. alanharper
"Ipswich Town manager, Paul Cook, says that he believes his side are the biggest and best club in League One this season – but admits that he’d be saying that if he was in Darren Moore’s shoes too" Move along, nothing to see here. True, but then again I remember us giving Arsenal a spanking a few years ago. Not sure that made any difference to them in terms of how big they are. But I think I'd agree this whole 'whos bigger' is a boring argument. Can't say I've ever looked at big clubs and had Ipswich spring to mind. Not that that proves anything however

No one comes close in league one On other factors.. well there is a debate to be had I tend to go with friends and colleagues opinions who are completely unbiased. I don’t have a single one who sees Ipswich as ‘bigger’ than Sheff Wednesday
