Possible return for Sheffield Wednesday LEGEND?

Recommended Posts

We wouldn’t have gone down in the first place if we hadn’t got rid of him.

In respect of the league table, it was fine margins that relegated us, he’d have won us the extra point or two that we needed.

He’s too good for league 1. He’s a Championship player.

While you can question his football ability what you can't question is his commitment, fight, effort, and team spirit.

I'd settle for all of that right now.

Thats a true legend, big Jack started, then added in the football skill later.

If it was good enough for Jack it's good enough for me.

Come back big man, because we sure need you.

There’s a reason we let him go and a reason Apoel have terminated his contract.

That reason is he isn’t good at football.

Now let it go.

Hope to see the Massive Man back soon

Perhaps he could pass by Italy and bring FF with him

Not good enough for the Cypriot League tells you everything really. For ability, he has been a very lucky lad to have had a career in football and make the money he has.

Yet did well for us. You know as well as I do that last season he would have had mor win place than most of not all of our strikers, like he has shown previously.

Do you want to re-write that in English for me please?

I'll take a guess at what he was trying to get across.

"You know as well as I do he had more pace than most if not all of our strikers last season put together, as he had shown on many an occasion."

How on earth can you say that?  He rescued the game against Fulham at home (just about everyone else had given up). He gets the winner against Leeds away, again when most people were ready to accept a draw, and if we'd had those 3 points last season we wouldn't have gone down. Just 2 examples from the list of goals and assists that I've seen (I'm sure other people have as well). I just can't understand the the contempt he gets; OK, agreed,  Atdhe isn't the most elegant of players but accusing him of being not being good at football harsh.  How often did he come on for the last 20 minutes and changed the dynamic of the game? As other posters have said, he's a damn good Plan 2 if nothing is working. IMO he'd be an asset in League 1, get him in!
