There’s a reason we let him go and a reason Apoel have terminated his contract.

That reason is he isn’t good at football.

Now let it go.

So glad we let him go

(although it DID cost us relegation but hey at least you can say he's gone eh!)

How on earth can you say that?  He rescued the game against Fulham at home (just about everyone else had given up). He gets the winner against Leeds away, again when most people were ready to accept a draw, and if we'd had those 3 points last season we wouldn't have gone down. Just 2 examples from the list of goals and assists that I've seen (I'm sure other people have as well). I just can't understand the the contempt he gets; OK, agreed,  Atdhe isn't the most elegant of players but accusing him of being not being good at football harsh.  How often did he come on for the last 20 minutes and changed the dynamic of the game? As other posters have said, he's a damn good Plan 2 if nothing is working. IMO he'd be an asset in League 1, get him in!

Wow those two examples have made me change my mind.

He was a wonderful footballer.

😱

He was exactly the kind of player that we were crying out for last season. But we let him go and paid Jack Marriott probably more instead. No way would we have gone down if he had stayed. Ridiculous decision. Would be an excellent one to bring him back, but I doubt we can afford him.

Highest scorer at the club since David Hirst

Second highest ( tudgay first).

On the broader point , we would not have been relegated had we kept Nuhiu . That is a fact as cold and as stone like as a cold stone
