Bannan will have been pretty well compensated during his career and if he's settled in the area, then fair play to him. What we need now is the right partner in midfield for him, and we've needed that since the play off final but that discussion has been done to death. All in all, good news I think. Guest Posted February 18, 2021 Share Posted February 18, 2021 Yesterday we had a thread with people dismayed that Bannan's contract is coming to end and we will lose him for nothing. A fair few in the thread refused to believe he was likely to sign a new deal and were critical of the club for it. Today he signs a 2-year extension and the same people are critical of this. However he is a good player and good guy so obviously at the moment that's all fine.
