Depends how good the crosses are

Dont' need to be fast if they land on your head/toe

Exactly, that's what the rest of my post alluded to. Rhodes especially needs the right balls in the right areas for him to show what he is good at.

If we’re playing Hutchinson in midfield I’d have liked Windass or Kachunga to play behind the front two to link the play up.

Won't be needed if Hutchinson and Shaw win the ball then pass to the wings to cross it in

old school tonight

No 'Number 10's' tonight

Just old fashioned wing play

Cross and score!

It’s probably a team a lot of us have been waiting to see.

The lack of pace up front is a concern but hopefully our game plan will work around that ie attack down the flanks and put balls into the box. It has to be that as we don’t have midfielders who can make runs beyond the strikers except for the possible exception of Reach.

Everyone seems pretty much in synch. Not much pace up top but at least there’s two of the bûggers there and we look like we’re going to try to play with width and try to win!

If it doesn’t work I will not be on Thompson’s back (not that I am anyway) because all I want is for us to try!

This is a team setting up to try so I can’t ask for more from the coach.
It’s up to the lads now...
