The Humble Club - Abhorrence Of Arabia

They’ll have a decent squad for this level when they come down - as they should do for the money they’ve chucked at it - but how well they do in the Championship hinges on how damaging this season has been to them mentally. The last year has been a massive fall from grace for them, it’s not the same situation as Norwich last season where they were relegated before a ball was kicked, the pigs had a freak season last year riding the crest of a wave and it’s all come crashing down hard. Mentally that’s got to be hard to recover from.

Also if they’ve already borrowed against TV money (e.g. parachute payments) then they might have to sell their ‘better’ players who still have some value. The players who came up the leagues with them could have their heads turned by one last big payday/shot at the big time if another PL club starts sniffing around too, rather than the slog of a Championship season in a team that’s mentally broken.

Definitely got blue and white specs on but I really hope they’re completely fùcked both on and off the pitch when their relegation is finally confirmed

Biggs really does have a lot of admiration for Wilder.

I suppose there is some mileage in his comments, but also a slight bias in there as well.

Never tends to be that critical of them, but OTT when it comes to the smallest things - he was commenting on Brewster saying it's coming, it's coming - might be around the same time they get their 2nd win!

Can’t people stop posting Biggs’ tweets? I purposely don’t follow him to avoid his inane drivel

Anyway, just like everyone else in football Biggs is out for himself. He knows the next SUFC manager wouldn’t have the same relationship with him

Unless it’s Cookie of course

Weirdly they would probably be ok up front with the players they have. I think Billy Blunt has had it for them whatever division they’re in but Brewster has done it before as has McBurnie and even Burke could be a threat with his pace (this is if they all stay of course). I just think that even in the Championship the rest of them are bang average.

Can they afford them after already borrowing against failure payments?

they could be in a position where they have to go up or else, that's if the prince can borrow against future failure payments to meet the cash flow

this is Wilders first season for them where he had pressure on him, after last seasons so called success, if he stays he is going to be under more pressure, and looking at this season he might not like it

think he will bail for that reason alone

Grubby how Chief pig Wilder keeps using quality of PL players as his excuse. His failure to manage and motivate them is the KEY issue.

Grunters on the pitch have no balls, no heart - the alleged Pashun.....what a joke!

ANYBODY can see there’s a difference in player quality, but the Pigs are embarrassing - with zero commitment, zero spirit, zero courage, zero energy. That is down to gurning chief Wilder-pig...it’s his job.

It amazes me that people think they’ll walk it next season when they’ve been utter sh ite this season and using their working out there will be 2 better teams than them coming down with them for starters.

I just hope to God we stay up this season because next year will be a reyt fwucking laugh.

Used to winning in a lower division! Why would that make you think they're better than United? When they played last season United won both and Norwich haven't beaten them since 2017.

The tiered promotion and relegation system we have in place in English football is a good start.

Yeah, I know how that works thanks.

One team has currently spent the last half a season showing how out of depth they are in the top division.

I reckon team last season than they are this so not sure why you are using last season as an example. Last season Utd were better than 11 teams in the PL according to the table. They certainly wont be this season.
