I've seen him play obviously but it feels like he's a jack of all trades.

I'd play him wing back in our current formation I think.

He is never a wing back in a million years

He operates mainly in the last third

He ran us ragged when we played

Rangers

Hope he can get back to that form

He averaged 1 goal in every 3 games for us while here on loan and the same for Wigan.

Scored 9in 54 for wigan

13 in 55 for Rangers.

Not sure how you get one in three from those stats?

Hooper, Fletcher, Nando, Joao

to

Rhodes & Windass

That’s some drop in class yet my season ticket remains at £640

No longer in line with “premiership prices for premiership players”

Hear what you’re saying but they have a real motivator behind them in Wilder whilst we have a charisma less clone of Jos

The point still remains the class of player has fell off a cliff whilst the extortionate ticket prices have remained

Hearing you.

Could never understand Jos, can only imagine what it must have been like for the players. But one thing he tried to do was change the culture - and thankfully, he never had that opportunity (despite the sentiment being right)

Not sure about Monk (or his back room staff) but as the optimistic wedsite I am, I'd like to think that the dressing room is a more constructive place (without the reputation of quality) now. A mixture of industry and togetherness has worked for Wilder, I'm hoping the above are creating such a culture and if so, they have the ability to motivate and challenge within this.

A lot of questions unanswered I feel (mainly due  to a previous outdated squad and disharmony), but to compare player to player without consideration of the many variables involved with success in football (as highlighted with our neighbours) is for me, somewhat short sighted.

He averaged a goal every 264 minutes at Rangers.

At Wigan it was a goal every 434 minutes, although a goal every 270 minutes last season.

He averaged a goal every 156 minutes while on loan at Hillsborough last season.
