room0035 Posted August 11, 2020 Share Posted August 11, 2020 Are centre backs the new central midfielders for years we have been stockpiling central midfielders, that were either not very good or what we already had. Now we seem to be getting linked with a lot of central defenders. We have no first team left back, right midfield, no championship quality goal keeper and only 1 striker on the books at the club. Until either 1 or 2 of Lees, Borner, Iorfa, JVA leave the club then I cannot see any centre backs arrive it would simple mean we have more players to sit in the stands again. We need to focus on the areas were we really need to strengthen with championship quality full backs and a decent Keeper we will concede a lot less goals.
