However, relegated they were, and to be honest, it had been coming, as they’d been flirting with relegation for a few years. I’m all for bringing in young players with pace, athleticism and energy but I wouldn’t mind morsy to give us that experience and steel in the middle. He would definitely improve us and he’s much better than a bottom half champ player. We won’t be taking players from teams at the top of the league. With the attitude of our team in the last couple of years we’d have struggled to even get out of league one. Seems he chips in with goals as well but a double break of his leg and not playing since the restart has to be a slight concern. Will he ever be the same player as he was before the injury. Wigan were deducted points and as a result they were relegated. They'd have finished halfway without the deduction and I bet they were a top six side based on games after xmas.
