In Fletchers case around 300-400k paid to him by his employer for doing nothing for 3 months . Are you telling me if your employer was good enough see you right for that incredible amount of money ( almost made for life in 3 months!!) you wouldnt walk an extra yard as a thankyou ? You get used to the amount quite soon so you really don't give a thought if you're making £40K a year or a week after a while. He hasn’t been available to play because of either injury, suspension (or tantrum!) too many times for me. I sound rather us invest in youth than players like him.
