Possibly a little influence from father in law Pete who posted the pic has helped in all this He's a bit young to have a grandson, unless he's from Rotherham? Lord Snooty
I'm really pleased for Connor that he's got the opportunity to come back and play for us in a proper Wednesday kit with black shorts.

He looked good on his last come back, then his knee went. If he comes back in now and finishes the season with any sort of form, he's the sort of player we should re sign on reduced terms. I know you thrive on negativity and hate every player but I can't be like that.

You're proposing we re-sign a 30 year old who has played 2,300 minutes of football (the equivalent of 25 full first team games) since May 2017. Nearly three years ago. Crikey. WalthamOwl
Very pleased we have him in until the end of the season but it’s a shame we haven’t got a striker we can build the team around. Wouldn’t surprise me if any of the strikers we currently have aren’t first team starters next season. Will palace sell us Wickham if things go well here? Imo we are going to need a whole new group of forwards next season.

Andrew6666
Is it just a loan, or can we buy him at the end of loan? Ideal replacement for Fletcher.

@owlstalk
Think this loan has been a massive flop this time round. Sad times. If this Coronavirus thing had cleared off by next week or week after we could maybe see if he'd got himself fit enough to play better for us, but everything I've seen of him this time at Sheffield Wednesday just screams out that he's running with concrete wellies on. fudge27
He's come back with a 'I'm too good for this level' attitude. And sorry to say it CW but you definitely ain't. He's been absolute dogger.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
I thought he'd be a great loan signing for us, but I didn't appreciate just how lacking in match sharpness he was. For some reason, I'd got it in my head that he'd been playing for Palace a bit more than he actually had. The whole club seems to be in a state, so i suppose it was always a bit much to expect a loan signing to come in and turn around our fortunes. matthefish2002
Will remember him for his previous loan spell where he was a cut above anything else on the pitch but this time around its been a non event. I bet only a few Wednesday anoraks will remember this loan spell in 5 years time.
